On March 13, 2019, Paxton was diagnosed with a metastatic anaplastic medulloblastoma. That’s an extremely aggressive form of brain cancer that had spread down his spine. He was brave and strong as he underwent 6 months of treatment. On September 20, 2019, Paxton rang the bell indicating he was done with treatment and cancer free. Three months later he relapsed. Paxton loved life, being happy, making people laugh and started a movement of kindness. On January 15, 2020, Paxton gained his angel wings. A few months before Paxton passed away, he told his family “One day, I am going to get a set of wings and fly to the top of the rainbows and find the pot of gold at the bottom."
So now, whenever any member of Team Paxton sees a rainbow they know he is with them! Welcome to our team!

Paxton’s tumor was donated to the Morgan Adams Foundation Pediatric Brain Tumor Research Program at Children’s Hospital Colorado / University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus to further research into medulloblastoma and new treatments for pediatric cancer. Please support The Morgan Adams Foundation as they fund this research in honor and loving memory of Paxton.
